Islamic Relief Ethiopia (IRE) hosts 17th Islamic Relief Council Meeting with members from across the globe, convening strategic agendas for the organization

Between 8 and 14 May, IRE hosted distinguished guests from IR family members who convened the 17th Council Meeting in Ethiopia's eastern Somali Regional State capital, Jigjiga.

During their visit, IRE showcased various ongoing project sites to highlight the impact of donations made by family members within Islamic Relief Worldwide. 

These included Orphan Sponsorship, Shelter Renovation, and Water, Hygiene, and Sanitation Projects.

Among the honorable guests was the CEO of Islamic Relief Worldwide, Waseem Ahmad, along with leaders from the UK, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, Ireland, South Africa, and Malaysia.
